I was so honored to be a part of this magical session. Being a close friend to Emily, we have always talked about how much fun it would be to do a mommy and me portrait session. It's funny how during a mom's night out shopping trip we stumbled upon a tulle skirt and that what gave us the push to get it scheduled! Styling friends and clients for sessions is something I find so much joy in! Emily's outfit was picked out during our shopping trip and I had the perfect complimenting outfit for sweet Norah. Norah's outfit is one of many options in our client wardrobe. I am looking forward to showcasing all of the options are have for children in the ECP wardrobe next month- stay tuned!
The key to portrait sessions with toddlers is to follow their lead. Yes, posed portraits are beautiful, but often times, the candid portraits are the most memorable. You can tell from this gallery, Norah enjoyed exploring Colonial Williamsburg with her mom, and I was along to capture their fun adventure!
